She was predeceased by: her husband Arnold Leon Sloan; her son Michael Francis Sloan; her parents, Jessie Lester and Pearlia Francis Davis; and her siblings, Moddie Davis, Arbrael Davis, Cleston Davis, Louise Davis Steiner, James Lester Davis, Johnny Marion Davis and David Crystal Davis.

She is survived by: her children, Gary Sloan (Debby) and Joan Sloan; her grandchildren, Lauren Walker (Nick) and Megan Sloan; and her great grandchild Perry Oliver Walker.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Woneda's memory to Lone Oak Baptist Church, 338 Hall Rd, Signal Mountain, TN 37377.
