It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Joseph Gallagher of Signal Mountain, Tennessee, who passed away on January 2, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Joseph Gallagher Sr. and Catherine Litz Gallagher. He is survived by: his wife Diane Gallagher; his children, Colleen Combs (Zilo) of Signal Mtn, Elaine Gallagher of Stonington, Maine and Kevin Gallagher (Carmen) of Greer, SC; and his grandchildren, Carolina Gallagher Adams of Brussels, Belgium, Savannah Adams (David Byrd) of Chattanooga, Paulina Gallagher (Jose Alonso) of San Francisco, CA, Michael Gallagher of Denver, CO, Mila Montecillo (Dustin) of Memphis and Lucy McClure (Justice) of Ooltewah. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
In retirement, Bill used his sales ability to fundraise for charities close to his heart such as Ladies of Charity, Habitat for Humanity, Dismas House, Notre Dame High School, St. Augustine Catholic Church, and the American Haitian Foundation.
