He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Wynot (Hequembourg); his parents, Austin Wynot and Marion Wynot (Giles); and his siblings, Harold Wynot (Edith), Eleanor Symmes (Winslow) and Rowena Lammers (William).

He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, David Lammers of Cape Cod, MA, William Lammers (Rita) of Ocala, FL, Barbara Gershey (Symmes) of Stanfordville, NY and Janet Wynot of Bent Mountain, VA..

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Residents Scholarship fund of Alexian Village, Signal Mountain.
