He was predeceased by: his parents, T. H. Armstrong and Grace Armstrong; and his sister Irene Culpepper. He is survived by: his wife Jean Armstrong; his children, Lynn Triplett (Pam) of Sale Creek, TN and Lisa Cohen (Steve) of Chickamauga, GA; his grandsons, Zack Cohen (Laura), David Cohen, Jeremy Triplett (Traci), Greg Triplett (Elizabeth), Travis Neely (Brittany) and Tyler Neely; and his niece Margaret Doar (Bob) of Pompano Beach, FL.. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
