Roy Combs Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Combs of Signal Mountain, Tennessee, who passed away on August 3, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Combs and Lottie Combs; and his siblings, Raulston, Ralph, Katherine and Kenneth.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Combs; his children, Billy Combs (Callie Gray), David (Stacie Combs), Anthony (Karen Combs), Heath Griffith (Ken Godlove) and Holly (Phillip Quist); his grandchildren, Caroline Dansby (John), Bailey Combs (Jonah Smith), Lilly Quist and Eli Combs; and his sisters, Marilyn Combs and Vicky Morgan (Bobby Raymer).

Roy spent many years as a valued member of Wayside Presbyterian Church where he served as a deacon and an elder and attended faithfully - even learning how to Zoom so he could live-stream sermons during the pandemic.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wayside Presbyterian Sanctuary Fund or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
