It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Merriam of Signal Mountain, Tennessee, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on May 3, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Merriam and Lucile Merriam; his wife Nancy Frey Merriam; his children, Gary Merriam (Barb) of Bloomington, IL, Steve Merriam (Dana) of Northridge, CA, Paul Merriam (Anne) of Ooltewah, TN and Julie Hatcher (Murray) of Nashville, TN; and his grandchildren, Melissa Merriam Miller (Chris), Bobby Adams (Kristen), Courtney Merriam and Caitlin Hatcher. He was also cherished by five great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church, Alexian Scholarship Fund or The Caritas Fund.
