It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ralph B Whitmire Jr. of Signal Mountain, Tennessee, who passed away on August 21, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Jo Ann Whitmire; his parents, Ralph Whitmire, Sr. and Daisy Burns Whitmire; and his siblings, Lee, Billy Joe, Fred, Elvin Whitmire, Louise Grayson and Lorraine Alig.

He is survived by: his children, Sherry Whitmire Eldridge (Mike), Kim Whitmire Reynolds (Rick) and Robert Whitmire (Lois); his grandchildren, Michael Eldridge (Jessica), Will Eldridge (Katie), Hogan Whitmire, Marie Whitmire and Brooke Whitmire; his great grandchild Ewen; his grandchildren, Eli and Evyn Eldridge; and his siblings, Kenneth Whitmire and Peggy Sims.
