She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest "Josh" and Ethel Loyd; her husband Roy; and her sister Betty Loyd Haddon. She is survived by: her children, Mary Alice Burleson (Danny) of Pikeville, Ernie Simmons (Kristan) of Johnson City and Carol Mitchell of Signal Mountain; her grandchildren, Michael Mitchell, Frank Mitchell (Laine), Olivia Simmons and Sarah Simmons; her great grandchildren, Elouise Mitchell and Sullivan Mitchell; and her siblings, Ernestine Loyd Pace and Gary Loyd (Linda). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Signal Mountain Church of Christ missions.
