She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Plank and Arbutus Plank; her brother Randall "Randy" J. Plank; her daughter Anna Mashaun Martin; her siblings, Katherine G. Plank and James S. "Jimmy" Plank; and her nephew Joseph "Joey" H. Plank.
She is survived by: her children, Wendy Marlene Dempsey and James C. "J. C." Dempsey (Heather); her grandchildren, Jonathan Thacker (Mandy), Chelsea Dempsey, Raidan Martin (Christy) and James L. "Jake" Dempsey; and her siblings, Judy Payne (Maurice), C. David Plank (Joy) and Jack N. Plank (Betty). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
