It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melvin Cooper Jr. of Signal Mountain, Tennessee, who passed away on August 21, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Melvin Cooper and Stella Kemplin Cooper; and his brothers, Donald and Wilber Cooper. He is survived by: his wife Pauline "Polly" Cooper; and his stepchildren, Sandy Cooper, Pat Burley (Doug), Chuck Cooper (Mary), Cynthia Wells and John Roden, Jr.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
