In the vast expanse of eternity, Maurice Thomas shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Maurice Thomas farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his wife Rose Marie Schmoll; his parents, Henry Schmoll and Elva Schmoll; and his sisters, Ann France (Dick) and Lois Douglass (Art).

He is survived by: his children, Thomas Schmoll, Matthew Schmoll and Karen Schmoll Snow (William "Bill"); and his sister Melva Storm (Don).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Maurice's name to Navy Veterans or the Alzheimer's Association.
