With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria Carolina Hammontree of Signal Mountain, Tennessee, who passed away on October 21, 2021 at the age of 51. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Pedro Raul Duarte of Noguera; and her brother Ricardo Jose Duarte. She is survived by: her mother Sor Maria Ferrer of Duarte; her friends, Students and Colleagues; her husband Charles D Hammontree, Jr.; her daughter Carole Marie Hammontree; her siblings, Francia Josefina, Pedro Duarte and Arturo Duarte; and also Venezuela.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Carolina Duarte Hammontree scholarship for Latina Business students to the Dalton State Foundation, 650 Colledge Drive Dalton Ga. 30720.
