He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Akins and Ray Harmon; his son Kenneth Ray; and his brother E. J. Harmon. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Harmon; his daughter Allisa Heard; his stepchildren, Robert Powell and Rhonda Brown; his grandchildren, Neal Powell, Carrie Wald, Lavelle Barker, Braxton Heard, Kenneth Heard, Adam Brown, Chad Brown, Jessica Powell and Michelle Logan; and his siblings, Aubey Harmon, Joyce Dotson and Brenda Summers. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
