He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Emogene; his daughter Jennifer; his son-in-law Pete; his grandchildren, Madeleine and Simon; his parents, A. J. Lewis and Lessie Mae Lewis; and his brothers, Don and Fred.

In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations be made to St. Timothy's Episcopal Church or the UTC Department of Theatre.
