He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn; and his parents, John Lee and Erlyne "Spot" Evans of Signal Mountain. He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth Evans and Patricia Miller; his grandsons, Jeffery and Tyler; and his siblings-in-law, Thomas and Kay Hays of Knoxville.
