She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Hall and Marie Hall of Memphis. She is survived by: her husband Judge David E. Bales; her daughter Kristin McBryde Allen (Scott); her stepson Christopher Bales; her grandsons, Hamilton Bales, Hutton Bales and Alex Allen; her mother-in-law Jeanette Bales; her sister-in-law Joy Ludwig (David); and her nieces, Jennifer Ludwig Stone (Patrick) and Stephanie Ludwig Devine (Shawn). She is also survived by four great nephews and many family members.
