He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Tate; and his wife Mary Joyce Powell. He is survived by: his daughter Shannon Harvey (Brian); and his siblings, Clifford Powell (Lori) and Elizabeth Sheffield. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Williamson & Sons Funeral Home (8852 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379). A graveside service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Hamilton County Memorial Park.
