We are sad to announce that on September 6, 2023, at the age of 90, James P. Anderson Jr. of Signal Mountain, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. James P. Anderson and Martha Anderson of Nashville; his wife Barbara Tyson Anderson; and his siblings, Martha LeSueur Anderson Batchelor, John Charles Anderson and William Wyatt Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, James P Anderson, III (Margaret) and Eve Anderson Currin (Don); his grandchildren, Sheppard Gage Anderson (Paley) of Birmingham, Helen Wallace Anderson of Nashville, Anna Tyson Currin, Eliza Chastain Currin and Sophie Austin Currin of Hermosa Beach, California.; his sister Elizabeth Chastain Anderson Smith of Cary; and his pet Muffin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
