He was predeceased by: his parents, George McCallie and Thelma McCallie. He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Ginny" Dill McCallie; his son Bryant J. McCallie, Jr.; and his siblings, Thomas McCallie (Juanita), Nadine Carden (Lebron) and Mary Nell Moore (Mike). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Chattanooga.
