He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter W. Wells, Sr. and Ruth Neill Wells; his wife Patsy Cleek Wells; and his siblings, Sarah Wells, Bonnie Pinson, Joan Reed, Walter W. Wells, Jr., Howard Wells, Robert "Fargo" Wells and George Kenneth Wells.
He is survived by: his siblings, Betty Wells of Shelbyville and Charles Wells of Birmingham, AL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
