He was predeceased by: his wives, Modeann Coats Ray and Evelyn Finch Ray; his children, Paulette Ray and David Michael; his grandson Jarrad Ray; his parents, William Price Ray Sr. and Beatrice Ruth Ray; and his siblings, Jack Ray, Alvin Ray, Gary Ray, Charlene Williams, Emily McKamey and Betty Black.
He is survived by: his sister Linda Frame; his granddaughter Amanda Ray Hoover; his great grandchildren, Samantha Hoover, Dylan Hoover and Charleigh Ray; and also Maxine Holt.
