He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Porter and Flossie Irene Bell Mangrum; and his siblings, Joe B. Mangrum and June Carroll. He is survived by: his wife Pat Mangrum; his children, Kevin Mangrum (Shelly), Kent Mangrum (Sharon), Kristie Collier (Kevin) and Karen Harden (Jamie); his brothers, Hollice Mangrum and Thomas Mangrum (Sarah); and his grandchildren, Katie Van Zandt, Mikayla Mangrum, Jarrett Collier (Sidny), Jacey Collier and Austin Harden.

Mr. Mangrum would be honored with memorials to: Southside Church of Christ, 108 Narrows Road, Shelbyville, Tennessee, 37160.
