She was predeceased by: her parents, A. Moody Snell and Emma Shockey Snell; her husband Samuel Ewin Stewart; her stepmother Zayda Whitaker Snell; her siblings, Carlisle Shockey, Clarence Hershel Snell and Juanita Snell Wayman; and her nieces and nephews, Annita Snell Sullivan, Patricia Snell McBroom, James Ferry Davis and William Thomas Davis.
She is survived by: her daughter Judy Day (Brent) of Fayetteville; her grandchildren, Phillip Day (Karen) of Gulf Harbor, FL, Amy Spriggs (Jarrett) of Lexington, KY and Beth Lockwood (Tim) of Marietta, GA; her great grandchildren, Jackson Day, Courtney Day, Kennedy Spriggs, Liam, Nathan and Sophie Lockwood; and her nieces, Carlene Snell Pulley, Sylvia Snell Weaver and Regina Wayman Helton.
