It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Jernigan Pearce of Shelbyville, Tennessee, who passed away on May 13, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Jernigan and Betty Mae Johnson Jernigan; her granddaughter Constance "Nickle" Ferrell; and her siblings, Thomas Jernigan, James Edward Jernigan and Sue Irene Price.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Pearce; her children, Cindy Hultgren, Tammy Ferrell and William Thomas Hart of Shelbyville; her siblings, William "Buddy" Jernigan (Annie Lou) of Shelbyville, Brenda Milliner (Ken) of Louisville and Linda Padilla of California; and her grandchildren, Krystle Faith Brinkley (Shannon) and James Ferrell, III (Kim). She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
