He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Glenn and Oda Irene Burns; and his brothers, Steven, Charles and Phillip Burns.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey Mills Burns; his daughters, Sonia Lynn Burgess (Michael), Tina Marie Stephens (Frank) and Pamela Denise Potts (Richie); and his brothers, Larry Burns, Donny Burns and Anthony Burns (Geneva). He is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
