It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Keith Cook of Shelbyville, Tennessee, who passed away on October 9, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Vernon and Wilda Faye Russell Cook; his former wife Monica Dawn Parsons Cook; and his brother David Michael Cook. He is survived by: his wife Freda Baker Cook of Shelbyville; his daughter Keeley Graves (Darrell) of Shelbyville; his granddaughters, Ava Blake and Sylvie Dawn Graves; his sister Valerie Cook McConnell (Rick) of Shelbyville; his nephew Phillip McConnell (Britney); his children, Lori Baker (Jeremy) of Goodlettsville and Mackenzie Capley of Shelbyville; his grandchildren, Kensley Capley and Olivia Baker; and his pet Murphy.
