He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harden and Martha Harden; his siblings, James, George, Earl Harden, Elizabeth Thomason and Clara Mantonona; his half-sister Jean Durham; and his stepsisters, Louise Smith, Barbara Angus and Clara Mae Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Wallace of Lewisburg and Sherman Dennis Harden (Lori) of Shelbyville; his grandchildren, Brandon Harden, Jennifer Wallace and Chris Harden (Krissy); his great grandchildren, Leah Harris, Kristin Harris, Autumn Neece, Justin Harden and Austin Dent; and his caregiver Sandy Conn.
