It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Wayne Adams of Shelbyville, Tennessee, who passed away on February 3, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, W. M. Adams and Mary Susie Davenport Adams; and his brothers, William Douglas Adams and Roger Dale Adams. He is survived by: his wife Bessie "Nannie" Adams of Shelbyville; his children, Jada Sissom and Tina Claxton; his sister-in-law Norma Adams; his niece Tonya Farley; his granddaughter Samantha Sissom; and his nieces and nephews, Chris Adams (Terrie), John Adams, William Adams (Beverly), Lisa Warren (Billy Wayne) and Regina Campbell (Sam). He is also survived by grandchildren, and one honorary great grandchild.
