It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy L. Smotherman of Shelbyville, Tennessee, who passed away on October 15, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Smotherman and Ida Lovvorn Smotherman; and his wife Bobbie B. Smotherman. He is survived by: his children, Chan Smotherman of Georgia and Chris Smotherman (Diana) of Shelbyville; his grandson Alex Smotherman; his sister Peggy Hardison (Jerry); his niece Kathy White (Russell); his nephew Robert Posey (Anita); and his great-niece Nicole Skeeters (Larry).
