He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dorothy King; his sons, Thomas Campbell of Shelbyville, Roy Anthony "Soup" Campbell (Linda) of Memphis and Glenn Campbell (Yuvonda) of Shelbyville; his grandchildren, Tyler Campbell of Shelbyville, Antonio Campbell of Memphis, LaSaundra Campbell of Memphis and Tabitha DeVaughn (Avery) of Memphis; his great grandchildren, Camiah Brantley, Caliyah, Camora, Janelia, Jomaira, Iris Campbell and Kaziah Campbell; his sister Gladys Flack of Shelbyville; his siblings-in-law, Ed King (Ann) of Shelbyville and Elsie Buchanan of Fayetteville; and also Glenn Sutton. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and friends.
