She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Saxxon Lynn and Jennie Frances Manus Lynn; her husband James T. "Tommy" Brown; her son Jimmy Brown; and her grandson Casey T. Gill.

She is survived by: her children, Charles Brown (Kathleen) of Murfreesboro and Betty Ann Gill of Shelbyville; and her sister Nellie Shomacher of Shelbyville. She is also survived by three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
