He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Wood; his daughter Marlene Horton Jacobs; his grandson Justin Jacobs; his great grandchildren, J. J. Jacobs, Brailee Jacobs, Haley Searcy and Mason Searcy; his children, John Wood and Brenda Smotherson; and his grandchildren, Keith and April.
