He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Thomas Adcock and Virginia Elizabeth Russell Adcock; his wife Margaret Adcock; his children, Judy Faye Pope, Robert A. Adcock, Jr. and Paul Haywood Adcock; his son-in-law Charles "Buddy" Pope; and his siblings, Jefferson Green Adcock, Oren Milton Adcock, Bill Haynes, Mary Lou Sherwin and Spence of Kansas.
He is survived by: his children, Tommy Adcock (Mary) of Shelbyville, Andy Adcock (Meg) of Florida and Barbara McAdams (Bill) of Shelbyville; his brother Melvin Claxton Adcock (Maxine) of Shelbyville; his grandchildren, Jim Potts (Marsha), Robert Potts (Tanya), Andrea Smith (Scott), Tina Carter (Jeff), Tisha Denby (Joe), John Adcock, Chuck Adcock (Dana), Drew Adcock, Amy Booher (Brandon), Angela Brown (Troy) and Charlie Pope (Cindy); his great grandchildren, Jennifer Barr (Marty), Kayla Rogers (Ryan), Mary Katherine Potts, Christopher Potts, Rebekah Potts, Mark Potts, Kara Potts, Ethan Smith, Anna Marie Smith, Summer Carter, Steele Carter, Justice Carter, Thomas Adcock (Jessica), Stacey Adcock (Jon), Corey Sudberry (Alisha), Jennifer Denby, Emily Denby, Brandon Brown, Meleah Stephens (Walker), Addison Pope, Emma Pope, Hannah Adcock, Xander Adcock and Violet Booher; his great great grandchildren, Landon Hill, Jace Hill, Charlie Hill, Gabbie Adcock, Elijah Sudberry, Rhett Rogers, Ryker Rogers, Kassi Yon (Milton) and Kirsti Barr; and his grandchildren, Makenna Yon and Elsie Yon.
