He is survived by: his children, Scott Gregory Gaines of Murfreesboro and Deana Gaines of Atlanta, GA; and his sisters, Patricia Parker (Curtis) of Winterville, GA, Brenda Carruth (Dean) of Hartwell, GA and Connie Eaves of Hartwell, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
