He was predeceased by: his parents, Dick Deussen and Shirley Ramey Deussen. He is survived by: his wife Joy Livingston Deussen of Shelbyville; his children, Richard Deussen (Andrea), Dan Deussen of Nashville, Henry Deussen of Nashville and Isabelle Deussen of Shelbyville; and his brothers, Mike Deussen (Kathy), Phil Deussen (Melissa) and Ed Deussen (Joan). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
