Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Richard leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton A. Cobble and Annie Mae Cobble; his wife Claudette Phillips Cobble; and his siblings, Jewell Seagroves Cobble, Thomas Burton Cobble and William M. Cobble.
He is survived by: his grandson James A. Cobble; and his nephew James Tyler Cobble.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Doak-Howell Funeral Home (739 N Main St, Shelbyville, TN 37160). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (501 St Jude PL Memphis TN, 38105-9959).
