She was predeceased by: her parents, John Alonzo Smith and Mary Etta Ball Smith; her husband C. A. Adcock; her son Clyde Elvis Adcock; her brothers, Bobby Smith and James Donald Smith; and her great great grandchild Lillian Leigh Spain.
She is survived by: her daughter Judy Adcock Brewer; her daughter-in-law Dottie Adcock Mershon; her siblings, Thomas Smith (Geneva), Joe Smith (Barbara) and Sue Smith; and her granddaughters, Lori Sitz (Greg), Jennifer Harrison (Troy), Rebecca Mills, Karen Adcock, Mary Beth Barlow (Roger) and Angela Taylor (Josh). She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to First Choice Pregnancy Center, 1102 Madison Street, Shelbyville, Tennessee 37160; or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
