He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Brown and Lila Pearl Nobles Brown; his sisters, Evelyn Gregory, Helen Benson, Maggie Dalton, Peggy Spence, Carolyn Prater and Judy Grogan; and his great grandchild Nathan Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Brown of Shelbyville; his sons, Ray Brown (Naty), Randy Brown (Christy) of Lewisburg and Rodney Brown of Shelbyville; his siblings, Lawrence Brown (Jean), Mildred Reed, Ricky Brown (Pam), Margaret Clanton (Wayne), Brenda Roddy (Wayne) and Jane Rollins (Larry); and his pet James. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 1 step-great grandchild.
