She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Reese and Eulavine Fuller Epperson; her stepfather Lee Epperson; and her brother Roger "Pete" Reese. She is survived by: her husband Roy Gene Stephens; her sons, Joe Stephens (Sondra) and Josh Stephens (Tiffany); her siblings, Micky Reese (Jill) of Shelbyville, Ricky Reese of Shelbyville and Patsy Andrews (Don) of Shelbyville; and her grandchildren, Jeffrey Skinner (Katie), Jonathan Skinner (Jessica), Bessie Skinner, Brandt Stephens (Erica) and Hannah Stephens. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
