We are sad to announce that on May 11, 2023, at the age of 88, Mary Eleise Smotherman of Shelbyville, Tennessee, born in Unionville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Leverette and Jenny Mai Perryman Leverette; her husband Curtis Smotherman; and her siblings, John Lee, Cecil, Bill, Robert, Paul Leverette, Sarah McClintock and Sue Lamb.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Dellfin of Hendersonville, Wanda Hamby (Bill) of Manchester, Donald Smotherman (Lilly) of Shelbyville and Rick Smotherman (Kim) of Shelbyville; her grandchildren, Brad, Amy, Keith, Micah, Kyle (Casie), Eli (Stephanie), Rachel (Jay), Brittany (Matthew), Patrick, David and Clint (Courtney); and her siblings, Joe Leverette and Joan Hargrove of Unionville. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
