With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marlin Blackburn of Shelbyville, Tennessee, who passed away on August 3, 2022 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Marie Hooker Blackburn; his brother Harold Pete Blackburn of Unionville; his children, Myron Blackburn (Lisa) of Murfreesboro and Marlene Cartwright (Blake) of Shelbyville; and his grandchildren, Justin Ryan Gordon (Ashley), Jody Martin Gordon and Bud Cartwright.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Shelbyville First Nazarene Church.
