She was predeceased by: her parents, George Albert and Clyde Estelle Parker Brown; and her husband David Franklin Hastings. She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Hastings of Murfreesboro and Beverly Speirs of Shelbyville; and her grandsons, Andy Womble of Lewisburg, Jay Womble (Misty) of Murfreesboro and Matt Adams (Erika) of Shelbyville. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
