He is survived by: his children, Matthew Armstrong of Fruitland, Daniel Armstrong (Ronda) of Shelbyville and Robin Russell (Billy) of Murfreesboro; and his sisters, Faye Curry (George) of Murfreesboro and Linda Christopher (Rick) of Murfreesboro. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
