She is survived by: her son James Ivan Potts III (Susan Cooper Potts); her granddaughters, Elizabeth Ann and Sarah Katherine; her sister-in-law Carol Todd Potts; her nieces and nephews, Mary Dale Fitzgerald (John), Gigi Potts Daniel (Al), Mary Lindsay Spearman, Hal Potts and Don Gray; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Katherine Fitzgerald Murphy (Chris), Kate Daniel, David Fitzgerald (Alberta) and Trey Daniel; and also, Jack Murphy, William Murphy, Lexie Fitzgerald and Lilly Fitzgerald. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their children.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions in Katherine's name be directed toward offerings to pediatric cancer charities, The Webb School, and the First United Methodist Church of Shelbyville.
