He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Brooks; and his parents, Ossie Lee and Mary Catherine Brooks. He is survived by: his children, Jerry Wade (Christina), Johnathan Brooks and Angela Brooks; his siblings, Vera Ransey, Crystal Manboard (Selvin), Candice Brooks, Micheal Brooks (Norine) and Thomas Brown (Shirley); his granddaughter Jordynne Tucker; and his nieces, Shari and Vera Brooks. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
