With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joel Dwight Clanton of Shelbyville, Tennessee, who passed away on April 8, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Doyle Clanton. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Jeffress Clanton; his children, Mary Beth Clanton and James Bradley Clanton; his grandchildren, Shelby Harmon, Emalye Beasley, Katey Allen (Lane) and Joel Burton; his great grandchildren, Gunner Harmon and Garrad Beasley; and his sister Dorothy Swing (Ezralee). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kingdom Cultivation Ministries, 701 Kingree Road, Shelbyville, or the Bedford County Cancer Society.
