With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimmy Alfred Burks of Shelbyville, Tennessee, who passed away on May 23, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lincoln Burks and Hannah Cawthron Burks; and his sisters, Ruby Gilliland (Don), Judy McGee (Jackie) and Lena Gibbs.

He is survived by: his wife Faye Bennett Burks; his children, Addam Burks (Carrie) and Shena Pink (Leo); his sister Jeanette Noggle (Ronnie); his brother-in-law Bobby Gibbs; and his grandchildren, Austin Reed (Nikkie), Megan Reed and Kayla Burns (Cody). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and step-children.
