He is survived by: his wife Sallie Jackson Darnell; his sons, Tim Darnell (Shelly) and Troy Darnell; his grandchildren, Justin, Peyton and Katelyn; his stepgrandchildren, Sidney and Dylan; and his sister Betsy Darnell Bobo (Frank). He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
