She was predeceased by: her parents, O. V. Hedgepath and Alma White Hedgepath; her former husband William Bailey Bean; her husband T. O. Hurt; her daughter Carol Annis Bean; and her brother Ed White.
She is survived by: her children, Paul David Bean (Cheryl) and Alice Marie Bean of Shelbyville. She is also survived by three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
