She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Locke and Mattie Locke; her husband Charles L. Stimpson; and her siblings, Frances Troxler and Roy Locke.

She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Charles Stimpson (Carol Magnuson) of Shelbyville, Dr. Stephen Stimpson (Linda) of Shelbyville and Quintin Stimpson (Michele) of Bell Buckle; her grandchildren, Dr. Andrew Stimpson, Alan Stimpson (Megan), Emily Stimpson-Hall (Tim), Mattie Stimpson, Dr. Andrea Anderson (Bill) and Stacy Altamirano; and her great grandchildren, Elenor Stimpson, Jed Stimpson, Sylvie Hall, Hazel Hall, Julia Anderson, Jamie Altamirano and Anthony Altamirano.

Mrs. Stimpson would be honored for memorials made to either Cannon United Methodist Church Memorial Fund or Good Samaritan.
